バリ島のドア Door in Bali

　バリにはいろいろなドアがあります。ロンボクスタイル、ジャワスタイル、どれがバリスタイルなのか普通はわかりません。バリにあるから、それでいいのですが、バリの独特のスタイルは、木彫りしたものに色が塗ってあり、絵柄は花やヤモリや人の形を彫っているのもあります。
　お金持ち、格式の高い家はこのドアに凝るそうです。金と赤、金と黒、たいそうなのである、宮殿がその代表です。初めはけばけばしいように感じますが、いかにも成金趣味ではないかと感じます。
　やがてバリ島ほど金色が似合うところはないのではないか、と思い始めます。レゴンダンスともイメージが重なってきます。木彫りの上に輝かしく金や赤で塗られた扉では、そこを開けると、何が待っているか不思議な感じがします。
　旅行されるときは一つ一つ気にされるとまた面白いと思います。
