ブランコ・ルネッサンス美術館 Antonio Blanco Museum

　ウブドにあるこのブランコ美術館は、アントニオ・ブランコ氏のアートギャラリーになっています。アントニオ・ブランコ氏本人は、数年前に他界していますが、彼の息子であり、また彼の血を受け継ぎ、アート創作をしているマリオ・ブランコ氏によって運営されています。ブランコ氏の邸宅を改築した洋館テイストのフロアには、バリ島を象徴するレゴンダンスの作品や、彼の孫を描いたものなど、1Ｆ～2Ｆに渡り多く展示されています。この美術館の前にはカフェがありますので、休憩にご利用頂けます。


This swing museum that exists in ubudo is Antonio swing's art gallery. ネカ美術館 neka museum

　美術館といえばここ！バリ絵画の真髄に触れるウブドに美術館はいくつかありますが、その中でももっとも有名なのが、このネカ美術館です。内部は絵の特徴やスタイルの違いによっていくつもの部屋に分かれています。バリ古来の伝統的な絵、ヨーロッパスタイルの影響を受けた絵、影響を与えた外国人の絵、など様々です。
　バリにある絵は3つに分けられます。一つはバリの伝統的な絵で、”カマサンスタイル”と言い、一見してわかると思います。人物の顔が斜めか横向きで、影絵と同じスタイルです。色も黒と白と黄色の3色しかありません。バリで見られる絵と言えば、1930年頃までこのカマサンスタイルの絵ばかりでした。絵の題材はインドから伝わる叙事詩をはじめ、バリの民話や伝説に基づいています。二つ目は、”バトゥアンスタイル”と呼ばれるものです。カマサンスタイルと同じく、遠近法はありませんが、絵そのものが従来よりもずっと細かくなっています。3つ目は、”ウブドスタイル”と呼ばれるもので、オランダ人やドイツ人などヨーロッパ人の影響を受けた絵です。1930年以降になりますと、それまでの平面的な絵から立体的で色彩豊かな絵に変わってきます。題材も人々の生活に基づいた身近なものに広がってきます。鳥・花・人物・風景などがあります。
　ネカ美術館の中に、男の子と女の子が窓枠によりかかって、向き合っている絵があります。これはとても有名で、絵葉書にもなっています。この絵は、もともとは別々の絵ですが、隣に並べて飾ることによってまるでもともと1枚の絵であるかのように見えて、とても素敵です。ネカ美術館に行った際はぜひご覧ください。

バリ・バタフライ・パーク bali butterfly park

　バリ・バタフライ・パークはバリ中東部にあり、タバナン市街地から車で15分ほど北上した森の中にあります。ウブドのアユン川渓谷にしか生息しない貴重なクプクプバロン（インドネシア語で“大きな蝶”という意味）や、別名“空を飛ぶ宝石”と言われるトリバネアゲハなど、約60種類の貴重な蝶を観察できます。
　園内は木や花々が生い茂り、植物園のような雰囲気。蝶は園内を自由に舞っているので、お気に入りを探してみましょう。他にも三ッ角カブトムシや巨大クモのタランチュラ、サソリなどの昆虫が飼育されていたり、珍しい虫を手で触ることができたり・・・と、蝶だけでなく昆虫好きにもたまらない公園です。
「ひと通りの観光地は行ったから、珍しいところ行ってみたい」という人にもおすすめ。知る人の少ない穴場スポットです。

バリ博物館 Bali museum

　バリ博物館はバリ島の州都デンパサールに位置し、ププタン広場の近く、ジャガナタ寺院の隣にあります。ヌサドゥアから車で40分の距離です。４つの建物にバリ島の歴史を感じる作品や儀式で使用していた道具などが展示されています。石でできた棺、古代の農耕具、装飾品、工芸品、かなり昔の石器や青銅器刀や銃。バリのお葬式で使用する品々も展示されています。また、バリの美術品も多く収蔵されており、巨大な壁画や、アンティークの木彫り、羽を生やしたライオンの像、ヒンズー教の神様を形どったアンティークの木彫りなど、細かい細工が施された見事な作品が展示されています。バリ島だけでなく、ジャワ島の歴史にも触れ、ボルブドゥール遺跡の精巧な模型なども展示されている。婚礼衣装は古代と現在の比較が出来、歴史の流れを感じることでしょう。
