ゴアラワ GOA LAWAH

　バリ島西部のクサンバ地区にあるゴアラワはクタ地区から約２時間の距離にあります。ゴアラワというのはインドネシア語でコウモリの洞窟という意味で名前の通り、無数のコウモリが住む洞窟があります。この洞窟がバリヒンズー教の総本山ブサキ寺院まで続いているという伝説もあり、人々の信仰も厚いお寺です。
　ゴアラワのみを観光に来る人は少ないと思いますが、トゥガナン村やバリ島の西部にダイビングに行く際はちょっと立ち寄ってみたい寺院です。洞窟にたくさんのコウモリがぶら下がっている様子はグロテスクですが、めったに見れる光景ではないと思います。
GOA LAWAH in kusanba district in Bali the west. It is in the distance of about two hours from the kuta district. GOA LAWAH means it in an Indonesian language, that is, the cave of bat. There is a cave where innumerable bat lives as shown in the name. There is a legend that this cave leads to the head temple busaki buddhist temple of Bali Hinduism, too and people's beliefs are thick temples.
When going to the village and the west of Bali to dive, it is a buddhist temple to which it wants to drop in on me though thought by the person who comes to go sightseeing only in GOA LAWAH it is few. I think that it is not a spectacle that can be seen though the appearance where a lot of bat hangs in the cave is grotesque.
